All students are required to follow the code of conduct prescribed by the management of Devaki College of Management & Science. Students are expected to maintain discipline, behave respectfully, remain neat and clean, keep a proper haircut, and dress smartly and appropriately at all times.
The following rules and regulations have been established at Devaki College to maintain a high standard of discipline, academic excellence, and a positive educational environment. Students are encouraged to develop honesty, punctuality, responsibility, teamwork, and respect for teachers, staff members, fellow students, and college property.
Every student is expected to actively participate in academic and co-curricular activities and uphold the reputation and values of the college both inside and outside the campus. Any form of misconduct, indiscipline, bullying, use of abusive language, damage to property, or activities harmful to the college environment will be strictly prohibited and may result in disciplinary action.
The college believes that discipline is the foundation of success and character building. Therefore, all students are expected to maintain dignity, follow institutional rules sincerely, and contribute positively toward creating a peaceful, safe, and productive learning atmosphere.
Students are strictly prohibited from smoking, consuming alcohol, using drugs, engaging in physical fights, or participating in any activity that disturbs the academic environment. Students found involved in such activities may be expelled from the college without consideration.
The use of abusive language, bullying, harassment, or disrespectful behavior toward teachers, staff, or fellow students is strictly prohibited.
Students are prohibited from bringing or using unauthorized electronic materials such as CDs, DVDs, MP3 players, and mobile phones during class hours without permission.
Any student found damaging college property, furniture, laboratory equipment, library materials, or other institutional resources will be required to compensate for the loss or damage and may also face disciplinary action.
Students must help maintain cleanliness, discipline, and a peaceful environment within the college premises.
Participation in academic programs, examinations, internal assessments, and co-curricular activities is compulsory unless officially excused.
Students must follow the dress code and maintain proper personal grooming as prescribed by the college management.
Students must carry their college identity cards at all times within the college premises and present them whenever requested by college authorities.
All students are required to attend classes regularly throughout the academic year beginning from the first day of orientation. Regular attendance is essential for academic success, discipline, and active participation in classroom activities. Every student must maintain a minimum of 85% attendance in each subject in order to be eligible to appear in examinations.
Students are expected to arrive on time for all classes, practical sessions, seminars, and college programs. Habitual latecomers or irregular students may face disciplinary action as per college rules.
